Pause Fest reveals huge program for its tenth birthday

Pause Fest

A glimpse into the future of business and technology.

The world’s leading independent festival for business and creativity returns for its tenth instalment next year, welcoming a huge spread of local and international speakers.

Initially launched as a small creative event just shy of a decade ago, Pause Fest has since become one of the most talked about tech events on the calendar, having hosted the likes of Tesla and Dropbox in past years. For its tenth birthday, Pause Fest is going all out with a program of over 30 speakers representing global organisations such as Google, Adidas, Giantstep, Airtasker and UENO.

Taking place across three days next February, the 2020 program will also showcase representatives from Netflix, Atlassian, WGSN, Square Peg, Mercedes-Benz, Slack, Walt Disney, Patagonia, Facebook, Culture Amp, ACMI, OzHarvest and SheEO.

The theme for next year’s event is ‘New Odyssey’ and poses questions around who owns the future and how to foster a landscape for the next generation of entrepreneurs to succeed, as well as tackling a range of topics and ideas pertinent to the future of business.

Pause Fest 2020 will also see ACMI unveil its new brand and visual identity, with Chief Experience Officer Seb Chan providing a sneak peek at the renovations transforming the cultural centre.

Whether you’re an entrepreneur, a tech-head or just want to know what’s next in the world of creative businesses, Pause Fest 2020 is the place to be.

Pause Fest is happening at Melbourne Convention Exhibition Centre from Wednesday February 5 until Friday February 7. For tickets and the full program, head over to the festival website
