Nick Huggins – Iceberg by 00remotecontrol
Lauded indie producer Nick Huggins has a second solo album due out on October 14 and this odd bird is the lead single, a track that warps and wends into existence, slowly begins to unfurl its sails then ends before it has really begun. Iceberg is delicately crafted from throbbing electro samples and warm, stumbling piano notes, organic pulses and Nick’s sweet but unsteady voice; a beautiful track that balances naked humanity with unsettling coldness. Weird but lovely.
