Santa Fe is an ode to Zack Condon’s home town and one of the least interesting singles to emerge from the three Beirut albums. A fuzzy, metronomic synth beat is the backbone of the song, with a looping melodic refrain filling out the gaps – mostly Zach singing ‘Santa Fe’ over and over in his wry, romantic fashion.
