It’s been a crazy last few years for Vika & Linda, and not just in the ways that it has been for all of us.

June 2020 saw them release their career-spanning collection ‘Akilotoa and score their first Number One Album. Not a bad start. Three months later they released their gospel album, Sunday (The Gospel According To Iso), which debuted at number two. Into 2021, September saw them release their first album of new material in nearly two decades, aptly titled The Wait, which also went to number two. And 2022 was no less frantic. The Queen’s Birthday saw them awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for their service to the performing arts, and they ended the year with not only their first Christmas album, Gee Whiz, It’s Christmas!, but their long-awaited memoir No Bull, which documented their journey from Doncaster, in suburban Melbourne, to the top of the charts.

Reflecting on their whirlwind past few years, which saw chart-topping success, prestigious accolades, and numerous acclaimed releases, Vika & Linda have decided to embrace a more intimate approach for the start of 2024. Inspired by their fond memories of impromptu singalongs and soundcheck sessions, the duo, alongside musical director Cameron Bruce, will present a stripped-back performance, allowing their voices to take centre stage.

Scheduled to kick off in March, ‘An Evening with Vika & Linda’ will showcase a selection of their timeless hits, reimagined in a way that audiences have never heard before. This unique format promises to offer a fresh perspective on Vika & Linda’s music, providing a deeper insight into their vocal prowess and emotional depth.

While the decision to embark on such a bold musical venture may seem daunting, Vika & Linda have proven time and again their willingness to embrace new challenges. With their unwavering dedication to their craft and a string of successful ventures behind them, the duo is ready to embark on this next chapter of their musical journey.

For fans eagerly awaiting the opportunity to witness Vika & Linda’s unparalleled talent in person, ‘An Evening with Vika & Linda’ is an event not to be missed. With tickets already selling fast, securing a spot at one of their performances promises to be an experience of a lifetime.
