Little Miss Posturing-rock returns with another brooding, sulky, would-be-sex-kitten single from Tambourine, a heavy-handed PJ Harvey rip off that is almost gothic in its maudlin, navel-gazing theatricality. You know the type, ‘I’m depressed because I’m on the dole and you’re too skinny, let’s fuck our blues away then go on a road trip to the outer west Badlands,’ that sort of thing. I don’t like this sound at the best of times, but I particularly hate it coming from fame-hungry middle class white people. Oddly, fame-hungry middle class white people are the only ones who seem to write this shit.
