Forced to cancel the 2021 iteration of the festival due to COVID-19, the LTEC organisers are determined to make next year’s instalment of the festival the best yet.

The lineup will feature an increased number of live acts and a focus on local talent, with Confidence Man, Northeast Party House and Close Counters ticking both boxes.

Joining them on the bill comes disco favourites Late Nite Tuff Guy and CC:Disco!, as well as Papa Smurf, UK’s Hidden Spheres, Young Franco, NZ’s Aroha, Tornado Club, Adi TooheyBen FesterMerveMarliTinikaBella ClaxtonGumm, and more.

“Not doing the festival in 2021 was a real blow for our team. However, we focussed on staying positive by making practical use of this time. We want to ensure this is our best one yet,” said Festival Director, Daniel Teuma.

“We used the break to fine-tune the festival’s finer points, really assess where we’re at and what we want to do. We’re looking to tie everything together. The overall experience will feel way more cohesive: from the artwork to the visuals to the food,” he said.

Having sold out the first two ticket drops off the back of announcing the festival’s 2022 return, the lineup announcement is sure to see the last lot of tickets snapped up in a flash.
