Gold Fields : Gold Fields

The following Holy No is more laidback – groovy beats are sexy and a catchy chorus makes this track memorable and enjoyable. However, it’s The Woods that’s perhaps the best track on the EP. Sonically stripped back, the dreamlike vocals are the focus point of the song, which favours the witty lyrics.

The poppy Treehouse evokes childhood adventures and carefree summers and is reminiscent of recently released music from Tim & Jean or Muscles. However, Goldfields own spin on the summer anthem is enhanced digital soundwork and a steady electro beat.

All in all, Gold Fields is a pleasing release – an EP with distinctly different tracks, but all of which will get a crowd dancing.

Best Track: The Woods
