Shuddering to a basic electro beat We Are The Dead summons an army of zombies unleashing mayhem to a blend of heavy rave and rock sounds. John Hurt continues in a similar vein but it washes over sounding like a facsimile of a forgotten Prodigy tune. After a while the electro rock emulsion starts to separate and songs like Pull Out My Insides and Broken Arms offers pretty straight laced indie that’s plenty rock and not too electro. It is hard to forgive Does It Offend You Yeah for completely destroying Massive Attack’s Sly on Wondering, but the deranged electro shenanigans of Wrestler and The Monkeys Are Coming should put a smile on most listeners’ faces. You have been warned.
