Shut Up & Dance Saturdays promises high-energy performances spanning crowd favourites across the decades – basically, the kind of music that gets everyone singing along and forgetting what time they planned to head home.

Adding fuel to the Fed Square fire is a Late Night Happy Hour running 9pm-11pm every Saturday, featuring $10 vodka lime sodas, $10 house shots, $10 glasses of bubbles, $12 pints (including Transport Lager) and $12 classic cocktails. It’s designed to keep punters settled in for the duration.
Positioned directly opposite Flinders Street Station, Transport Public Bar has been a natural meeting point since 2004. Free entry and walk-ins encouraged means it’s as simple as stepping off the train and diving into one of Melbourne’s best-known music venues.
Having championed local acts for two decades while maintaining that buzzing, all-in energy Melbourne nightlife is famous for, Transport in Fed Square continues building on its reputation as a cornerstone of the city’s live music ecosystem.
Whether you’re chasing the headline act, hunting down happy hour specials, or just looking for something spontaneous, Shut Up & Dance Saturdays is shaping up as the city’s newest late-night ritual.
