Despite being not at all my thing, Floods has a brash and fearless energy that I can’t help but admire. The debut single from a new Perth act fronted by Grant McCulloch (Heavy Weight Champ), it’s a hyper agitated form of Australian rock that pounds from verse to chorus without a breath. Sounds like a hard rock version of Something for Kate, thanks in large part to McCulloch’s voice
