Be blown away at The Melbourne Magic Festival, the largest festival of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere.

For 14 days, be dazzled by the extreme visual theatre of The Melbourne Magic Festival, with special events, workshops and live shows. There’s something for everyone – with shows ranging from child-friendly to adults-only. With over 130 performances across the two weeks, The Melbourne Magic Festival has gone on to become the largest festival of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. Attracting magicians from all over Australia, as well as top international guest magicians, there are 30 unique shows for everyone to enjoy.

Highlights of this year’s festival include The Conjurer at the Card Table, where comedian, magician and showman Josh Staley delights audience with a show that’s equal parts hilarious and mystifying. Following a complete sell-out season in 2021, this isn’t one to miss. Catch the award-winning magic and circus show The Quizzical Mr Jeff, as well as Irish dance and illusion show, Celtic Illusion.

Gifting the Australian public the opportunity to give Melbournians the opportunity to see world-class magic acts in a theatrical environment, The Melbourne Magic Festival was created in 2008 by The Australian Institute of Magic.
