Emmy-nominated Robby Hoffman is bringing her stand-up to Melbourne in 2027.
Robby Hoffman is packing her stand-up into a suitcase and heading to Australia and New Zealand in 2027, Melbourne included.
The comedian, actor and writer will play four shows across the two countries, with stops in Auckland, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
Her stand-up is known for a blunt, no-filter outlook and a comedic voice that’s very much her own, which is exactly what she’ll be bringing to these live dates.

Hoffman’s Netflix stand-up special, Wake Up, was directed by fellow comedian John Mulaney and landed on the streamer in December 2025. Away from the stage, she earned an Emmy nomination for playing Randi in the HBO comedy Hacks, and she’s currently appearing in the show’s fifth and final season.
She also turned up opposite Michelle Williams in the Hulu series Dying for Sex, and she’s part of the cast of the HBO series Rooster, where she shares scenes with Steve Carell.
Robby Hoffman Live – Australia & New Zealand 2027 is being presented by TEG Dainty and TEG Live, kicking off at Q-Theatre in Auckland on 29 January before moving to Powerhouse in Brisbane the following day.
Sydney’s Factory Theatre hosts the next show on 5 February, and the run wraps up at the National Theatre in Melbourne on 6 February.
General public tickets go on sale at 5pm AEST on 30 September, so it’s worth setting a reminder if you want a seat. Melbourne fans only have the one date to aim for, so that National Theatre show is the one to circle.
