Vittorio Angelone cleared his entire Australian run in record time, so the comedian has bolted on a fresh batch of dates, Melbourne's Capitol Theatre included.
Vittorio Angelone reckons he’s not a comedian, yet he’s sold out his entire Australian tour and just added more shows.
After the original run vanished off the shelves, the comedian has stacked extra dates on top across the country, and Melbourne punters get a third shot at Vittorio Angelone with a freshly added night at the Capitol Theatre on 28 November, sitting alongside his two already-gone shows on 26 and 27 November.
The Irish-Italian performer moved to London to train as a classical musician before swerving into stand-up, and he’s climbed quickly since, with clips, podcasts and sketches pulling more than 50 million views online and a following that keeps snowballing.

You Can’t Say Nothing Any More is his newest hour, running about 90 minutes with no interval. It follows earlier touring shows that took him around the UK, Ireland and Europe, with the current run marking his first proper lap of the southern hemisphere. The whole thing rides on a cheeky premise, with Angelone still flatly denying he has anything to do with stand-up comedy at all.
Away from the stage, Angelone co-hosts the podcast Mike & Vittorio’s Guide to Parenting with Mike Rice and co-created Fin vs The Internet. He broke through with a sell-out debut at the 2022 Edinburgh Fringe, picking up a Best Newcomer nomination at the Dave Comedy Awards, and has since supported Russell Howard, Jason Manford and Michael Che on the road.
With the first wave of tickets gone, the promoter has tacked on late shows and additional dates in most cities, so the newly released seats are the last remaining way in. The tour opens in Auckland on 18 November before working through the east coast and finishing with two nights in Perth in early December. Anyone chasing the Melbourne dates should move quickly, given how fast the first shows disappeared.
