The iconic Brunswick Music Festival is returning for its 35th installment, along with the Sydney Road Street Party.
Returning in 2023 from March 5 to 13, the Brunswick Music Festival is famous for taking attendees on a journey through some of the suburbs’ most celebrated venues, while popping up from time-to-time in some unexpected places.
They want to hear from Brunswick venues, musicians, music groups, bands, ensembles, school and community groups, music-based businesses, and others who wants to be involved in their 2023 program – so if that’s you, get involved!

With last year’s festival boasting a whopping line-up including Adalita, Birdz, Body Type, Didirri, Flyying Colours, Gordi, Gregor, HTRK, Irish Mythen, Kaiit, MOD CON, RAT!hammock, Ziggy Ramo and heaps over the 10 days, Brunswick Music Festival 2023 is set to be huge.
It’s always a spotlight of the best of the best of Brunswick venues and music culture. Last year saw Penny’s Bandroom, Stay Gold, B.East, The Retreat, Tempo Rubato, Cross Street Music Hall, Brunswick Ballroom, Bar Oussou, Noisy Ritual, Jazzlab, Moldy Fig, BMI, Howler, Rubix, Small Time, Charles Weston and Edinburgh Castle all getting in on the fun, holding their own programming over the festival period.

- Sunday October 9 2022 – Expressions of Interest close.
- Friday October 23 2022 – Expression of Interest outcomes confirmed with applicants.
- Tuesday November 1 2022 – Marketing materials due.
- Late January 2023 – Brunswick Music Festival and Sydney Road Street Party full program announced.
