Happy! Birthday! Milk! Records!
Many happy returns to an iconic Melbourne record label – they’ll be celebrating double digits with a couple of huge parties at Northcote Social Club this December 23. Double the digits, double the cities, double the fun: they’ll also be heading to Sydney for a show at Oxford Art Factory and a show at Phoenix Central Park.
Milk!’s roster includes Australian artists Courtney Barnett, Jen Cloher, Dyson Stringer Cloher, Hachiku, Liz Stringer, The Finks, Jade Imagine, Mess Esque, Loose Tooth, and East Brunswick All Girls Choir as well as international artists Sleater-Kinney, Chastity Belt, Hand Habits, Tiny Ruins and Bachelor.

A bastion of Melbourne’s flourishing music scene, Milk! Records founded in 2012 to release Courtney Barnett’s first EP I’ve Got a Friend Called Emily Ferris. Having released over 60 titles in the last decade alone from independent and internationally established acts, they’re a queer and queer-friendly community of artists and arts workers.
