Mui Karaoke

Opened daily from 5pm until 1am, Mui karaoke has quickly cemented themselves as one of the best karaoke bars this side of the country. With a whopping 300,000+ songs in their machines, you’d be hard pressed to find a track that they don’t have. There’s a bunch of rooms ready for you to book, perfect from a party to a quick catch up. On top of all this, there’s an amazing selection of mouth-watering alcoholic drinks and bar snacks, making a visit to Mui Karaoke one you’ll never forget.

Booths Karaoke

Yet another newer venue on this list, Booths Karaoke only opened back in October of 2022. If the idea of doing karaoke makes you anxious, then Booths Karaoke is the place for you. So get mates together and book in your visit to Booths Karaoke, prices start from $20 per hour for their small booth, or up to $32 per hour for their large booth.

The 5 level mecca of entertainment, their 4 karaoke rooms coming in a variety of sizes, fitting 4 people to 30 people, ideal for whatever your plans are. Once you’ve aced your version of Livin on A Prayer, you can jump on stage at Heroes and sing your heart out to a crowd of people. Lychee Karaoke Bar

One of the newer venues on this list, the Lychee Karaoke Bar is the perfect spot if you’re hoping to hold your next party at a Karaoke bar. So grab some mates, grab a few bevs, and see how much of the Taylor Swift discography you can sing without looking at the screen

FM Karaoke

With two killer levels, FM Karaoke is well equipped to cater to all Karaoke needs. This Karaoke hotspot offers a whopping 8 rooms, ranging in capacity from 5 to 15 people, so whatever you want of your Karaoke, FM Karaoke has it. If you feel like going all out for your visit to FM Karaoke, they offer a selection of packages, starting with sparkling and wine package, for $198, which includes three hours in the karaoke room, a bottle of spirits and 2 jugs of wine? Perfect petrol for a night of singing.

Club Aeri

For a bit of a luxe night, head over to Club Aeri. This is a private room-only karaoke establishment so there’s no need to let the public humiliation excuse stop you from coming here. Patrons pay by the hour and have a barman right outside their door, ready and waiting to serve up whatever they desire. Walk-ins welcome.

Ocean 12 Entertainment

If you’re keen for something more on the laid back side, check out Ocean 12 Entertainment, there’s three types of rooms ready for you to use, small, medium and large, so you’ll be able to find a space suited to all your vocal needs. Each room has a different style, so after many visits here, you’ll still enjoy it as much as the first time.

PartyWorld Karaoke

With a prime location inside Melbourne Central, PartyWorld Karaoke is your best bet for affordable karaoke. Their authentic chefs offer an enticing menu, while the karaoke systems have all the latest in English, Chinese, Japanese and Korean songs. They also boast a “bar manager that will accept any offer you put forward” and, while we’re not sure whether this is to do with the karaoke or the drinks, we think you should check it out.

Strike Bowling QV

Spice up your karaoke night with a touch of bowling on the side. Located in the heart of the CBD, Strike Bowling QV not only offers the lanes, but the tunes too. This is a private room, with capacity for up to 35 people and a very reasonably priced hourly rate. Get in quick to book it out for the night.

Stars KTV Karaoke & Lounge

While this karaoke location is fairly new on the scene, they have a set up that rivals some of the oldest of establishments. With 21 rooms to choose from, there’s sure to be a fit for you and your mates. Whether it’s just a fun night out, or a larger function, this venue can cater to you. All rooms come with a system featuring over 200,000 English and international songs and are complimented by an excessive bar list and a menu featuring all your favourite party snacks.

KBOX Karaoke Private Room Melbourne

With countless glowing reviews mentioning how time passes too fast at KBOX, you’ll know a visit here will be fun. Their website houses an awesome search bar that allows you to search their song systems, test it out here and see if your weird and wonderful music tastes can be housed here. Prices start from a reasonable $45pp (minimum 2 people), which gives you 2 hours of singing.

Action Karaoke

Action Karaoke brings chill vibes to the karaoke industry, this is the perfect spot to kill a bunch of hours with mates overnight. There’s also regular Chinese events held here, keep an eye on their socials here for any future events.

Jankara Karaoke Bar Russell St

It’s free, and with every two drinks purchases, you receive a song ticket, so you can belt out that Wham hit. Yum Sing House and Karaoke Bar

Popular dining establishment Yum Sing House also features a karaoke bar – it’s a one stop shop for all things food, drinks, and entertainment. They’ve got a stacked menu for their karaoke rooms too – jam packed with Asian inspired snacks, beers from all corners of the world, wines, spirits, cocktails, and even a variety of packages if you’re keen to spend a few hours at Yum Sing House. Juke’s

Located in the entertainment hub of Crown Casino, Juke’s Karaoke is a must visit spot if you’re hoping to test out those vocal muscles soon. There’s a few different rooms ready for you to book, perfect for everything from a party to a quick after work catch up. Juke’s have also listed a killer selection of their most popular / favourite songs, be prepared to sing tracks like Bohemian Rhapsody, Let it Go, Shallow, I Wanna Dance With Somebody, A Whole New World, I Want It That Way and plenty more.

MDM Karaoke Lounge

If you’re not keen to travel all the way into the city to live out your famous singer dreams, MDM Karaoke Lounge is the place for you. The best karaoke bars in Melbourne’s northern suburbs

Benjys Karaoke Bar

If you’ve been looking for a karaoke venue to sing that favourite foreign language track of yours, look no further than Benjys, they’ve got a whopping 60,000 songs to choose from, all in a variety of different languages. They’ve also got a stacked bar, full of a selection of our tastiest wines, beers, and spirits. Wows Karaoke Fitzroy

There’s a new cowboy-themed drag and karaoke bar opening in Fitzroy this Friday

It’s one of the newest venues on this list, only opening back in mid 2022. Open in the back end of the week between 7pm and 3am, Wows is one of the most enjoyable spaces to do karaoke in Melbourne. The Firzroy venue also houses a number of other killer events, such as Drag Shows and Bingo, so you know there’s something to do here every night of the week. Karaoke is free to do with a drink purchase, so there’s no reason why you shouldn’t head to Wows as soon as possible.

Rice Queen

Once again, one of Melbourne’s best karaoke bars is nestled away within an actual restaurant, you can find the Rice Queen Karaoke room, perfect to build up your appetite for a number of their tasty dumplings or prawn toast. Running Wednesdays through to Sundays, their karaoke rooms start from an easy $10 per person for an hour, and you can book for up to 15 people. When you’ve finished living out your Broadway dreams, you can grab a drink at Rice Queen’s Happy Hour for $10, making for a night well spent out in Melbourne.

Ichi Ni Nana’s Sing Song Den

One of Melbourne’s best karaoke bars is located in the basement of Ichi Ni Nana’s, the Sing Song Den allows you to live out all of your rockstar dreams. You can book in the karaoke room for up to a few people, so it’s ideal if you’re keen to recreate that acapella section in Bohemian Rhapsody.
