Remember when Kid Koala and The Avalanches delighted us with their sample-riddled scratch rock? Seemed quite revolutionary a decade ago. I don’t know that this sound has progressed to retro-cool, but T-Rek is attempting to revive it nonetheless. Here’s hoping the slamming big beat dance music sound of New Strange still has an audience.
