Lets not beat around the bush, I know you’re all sitting there, eyes twitching, drool falling out of the side of your mouth, so here goes…
To kick start the announcement we have no other than British indie scene kids, Arctic Monkeys! Making their debut at The Falls Music & Arts Festival in 2011 these guys have cemented their place as one of the most, well, just plain awesome acts of our time, so can I get a hells yeah for these boys?
Returning to Falls is comedic genius and household name, Arj Barker! He is bringing an all new show to the festival this year. Warning: side-splitting may occur.
Reinventing the classics with a brand spanking new concept album, Easy Stars All Stars will be starring at Falls, performing Dub Side of the Moon – an album that in the true Easy Star All Star style puts a twist on the classic tunes of our time.
Next up we have folk rockers, Fleet Foxes! The Foxes have been busily touring the world with the like of Neil Young...you know, no biggie…and are returning to Falls with their trademark harmonies and gangland choruses.
Also on the bill for 2011 is crowd favourites of 2010, The Jezabels. These dudes have come a long way in the last 18 months and are bringing an all new set of sweet ass tunes for festival goers to bop along to.
Last but not least of the first announcement is singer songwriter, Tim Finn! Do I really need to explain this one?
Point is, by now your jaw should have hit the floor, your mind should have exploded and you should be running through the streets leaping with joy.
