Party For Yasi

Keepers and Ding Dong Lounge have joined forces to raise money for The Premier’s Disaster Relief Appeal, hosting ‘Party For Yasi’.

Keepers and Ding Dong Lounge have joined forces to raise money for The Premier’s Disaster Relief Appeal.

Their fundraiser, Party for Yasi, is set to feature international DJ G.L.O.V.E.S just before departing on a European tour as well as a mix of live local talent including indie-dance duo Northeast Party House and Melbourne pop singer Kristina Miltiadou (who has just finished supporting Marina & The Diamonds while in Australia). All profits from the night will be donated to The Premier’s Disaster Relief Appeal to assist with the aftermath of Cyclone Yasi.

This will add to a long list of entertainment events to raise money for the appeal. The Corner Hotel hosted two fundraising nights, with Hip Hop Flood Relief as well as a benefit gig MC’d by Julia Zemiro featuring a line-up of Aussie stars including Washington, Missy Higgins, Tim Rogers, Clare Bowditch, Bertie Blackman and Dan Sultan. The Prince of Wales Bandroom brought together performers Grant Smillie, Ruby Rose, Nervo Twins, The Stafford Brothers, Kaz James, Hook N Sling, The Potbellez, TV Rock and Zoe Badwi for Dance Aid.

Party for Yasi will be held at Ding Dong Lounge on Friday March 4. Tickets are available at OzTix.
