Few producers have explored as widely as Move D, and he’s taking that curiosity into the Cage.

The German DJ weaves soulful, deep house together with jazz, psychedelia and left-of-centre sounds. His discography runs through Warp, Smallville, Workshop and Running Back, plus his own label, Source Records.

His sets are known for keeping feet moving without losing any musical depth. Consider it a lesson from one of house music’s most respected selectors.

Jmcee & Friends take the stage from midnight.

Melbourne’s own Jimi The Kween is celebrating her debut mixtape, ‘Pretty Club Girl’, with a launch party at Revolver Upstairs.

After taking over stages across Australia, LA, Berlin and Amsterdam, she’s heading home to the dancefloor. The mixtape is a steamy, sweaty ride through electro-pop, techno and plenty in between.

Special guests will be announced soon. Doors 8pm.

Michael Mayer

Michael Mayer co-runs Kompakt, the Cologne label that grew out of a dance record shop and has been setting the terms for European techno since 1998. He’s headlining Revolver Fridays this month.

His own records sit between house and techno – minimal, a little dubby, never parked in one spot for long. Start with the Immer mix series and his DJ-Kicks. The newest is The Floor Is Lava, a 2024 Kompakt album he built on the abandon of early house and pitched as a DJ album made by a DJ.

Adelaide-born, Berlin-based Eluize, Henry Who and Mike Callander support. Callander has held a Revolver residency since 2010 and now lectures on DJ culture at RMIT. SHADOWS takes the Stage from midnight, and Sunshine runs Rise & Shine in the Cage from 7am.
