Through the concept of illusion verses reality, the performance – inspired by German philosopher Schopenhauer – explores ancient Indian concepts of escapism. The performance aims to explore the limits of human perception, questioning what does and doesn’t exist.
This world premiere is the first in a trilogy of performances from Melbourne Ballet Company, featuring prominent Australian choreographers Lucas Jervis, Rani Luther and Alexander Bryce.
