If Still Life was a pastry, it’d definitely be a pain de Chocolat. Opening with the track Too Much Love the album effortlessly holds together this notion of up-tempo indie dance music. Breathing Space draws you in like a spider web, it’s hard to escape its inexplicable beauty, the bassline is killer. The choruses of the tracks that make up Still Life are catchy, but this is the sort of album that you can have endlessly on repeat and still after 15 listens through find beauty and comfort in the structure of the songs.

Little Cub are blowing up in Europe and it’s only a matter of time before the band hits our shores.
