Kingswood announce new album and 2020 Australian tour

Kingswood will head on a 20-date national tour this March.

Following on from last year’s singles ‘Say You Remember’ and ‘You Make It So Easy’, Melbourne rockers Kingswood have announced they’ve got a new album on the way.

Titled Juveniles, the album will serve as the band’s third LP and their first since 2017’s After Hours, Close To Dawn.

Written and recorded across the US, UK and Europe, Juveniles encompasses the journey behind the album and sees the dynamic between chief songwriters Alex Laska and Fergus Linacre grow even stronger.

The band have also given a sneak peek at their new record with the release of the first single from the album, ‘Bittersweet’.

“‘Bittersweet’ was originally inspired by the love story of one of our dearest friends,” says Linacre. “Without going into detail, a medical issue put a question mark over their future, but without blinking they forged on together, overcome with love and companionship. The opening line, “There’s no love on this earth that isn’t bittersweet”, is a truth that we should all remember as we paddle through the waves.”

Kingswood will also introduce their new tunes onstage with a massive Australian tour kicking off in March. The 20-date run will see the band making their way around the country through to late June.
