Commissioned by a sneaker company (money’s gotta come from somewhere), Slumming It In Paradise allows Big Scary to indulge in the more hip hop inclined direction as hinted on their last record, teaming up with Jonti for a breezy little jaunt. It’s a nice slice of pastiche pop, which hopefully will result in something of greater consequence in the near future.
