Jamaican Music & Food Festival is set to return to Seaworks on December 7, 2024.

The highly anticipated Jamaican Music & Food Festival is back, taking over Seaworks Maritime Precinct in Williamstown on Saturday, 7 December 2024. Hosted by ALWAYS LIVE, Australia Reggae Radio, and Stick Mareebo Productions, this festival promises an afternoon filled with the best reggae legends and rising stars from Victoria and around the world.

The premier celebration of reggae and Jamaican-origin music will also feature a showcase of performance art, street food, and vibrant cultural displays. With the event being part of the 17-day state-wide celebration of contemporary live music, supported by the Victorian government through Visit Victoria, it’s set to be a day to remember.

The festival is also being supported by the Hobsons Bay City Council through its Make It Happen Grants Program, while media partners include PBS 106.7 FM, Unsourced Media, and Australia Reggae Radio. With Appleton serving up the finest Jamaican rum in the signature Jamaican Rum Punch and Mountain Goat Beer joining as another major sponsor, festival-goers can enjoy a full cultural immersion.

Headlining acts and full lineup revealed

This year’s festival will feature an impressive lineup of international and local talent, headlined by Jamaican reggae artist Anthony B and DJ Banna. Joining them will be an array of reggae stars like Flames Eye, Fitzroy Lee, and more.

Four stages: Roots Man Corner featuring Heartical Hi Powa, Lighthouse Stage by Housewife’s Choice, I Love Dancehall stage by Goody’s HiFi inside The Pirates Tavern.

Food is at the heart of Jamaican culture, and festival-goers can indulge in mouthwatering dishes from over 20 food vendors. From Boss Man Foods’ jerk centre to ice-cold drinks at the Jamaican Music & Food Festival Bar, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. A dedicated children’s area will also provide face-painting, a magic show, and live interactive African drumming.

Tickets start from $50 plus booking fee, with family and senior citizen tickets also available. The festival kicks off at 11am and wraps up at 9pm, offering eight hours of family-friendly entertainment and a perfect summer day out.
