The first taste from HTRK’s forthcoming LP echoes like fluorescent dotted road lines on a midnight highway, bass reverberations hollowing out the Earth into an icy chasm. “This time/I’m gonna love you much better.” It’s a feeble promise. Give It Up is darkly and devastating, and very, very good.
