Haight-Ashbury raised and internationally adored, Kristina Olsen is the kind of live act you don't forget.
Kristina Olsen, the California-born, internationally touring multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, is heading to Brunswick for one night only, and it’s the kind of show that defies easy description.
Blues, swing jazz, ballads, bottleneck guitar, and an apparently legendary sense of humour all feature in a live set that has kept audiences across the globe coming back.

Olsen grew up in San Francisco’s Haight-Ashbury neighbourhood during the 1960s, and that world of social activism and wide-ranging musical influence clearly left its mark.
Now based between Venice, California and Vancouver, she’s spent decades carving out her own corner of acoustic music, one that doesn’t sit neatly in any single genre. She’s got 13 recordings under her belt, including four on the Philo/Rounder label, plus a live DVD and an enhanced eBook with music.
Her newest project is developing chorale arrangements of her original songs, with the aim of bringing local choirs onstage with her at select gigs.
Tickets are available now, and given the intimate setting of the Brunswick Ballroom, this one’s worth locking in sooner rather than later.
