NOFX have announced that they’ll play their best album Punk In Drublic in full for their fans in Belgium at this weekend’s Groezrock festival. It’s the 20th anniversary of this classic punk rock piece, which has of course in turn sparked rumours that the band will visit Australia once more to do the same.

Propagandhi’s Melbourne show on Friday May 30 has officially sold out so you just have one more chance to get your hands on tickets to their Thursday May 29 show at the Corner Hotel. Of course, you could also head into Geelong for your fix. That’d be pretty excellent way to spend a Saturday.

Splendour in the Grass has announced another killer lineup for this July with Outkast, Two Door Cinema Club, Interpol, Chvrches, Danny Brown, and Parquet Courts flying all the way here for just the one performance in Byron. DZ Deathrays, Violent Soho, Spiderbait and Kingswood are also confirmed for the event.

Bodyjar are celebrating their 20th anniversary this August by hitting the road with friends, Samiam, Blueline Medic and Clowns. The gig at the Corner Hotel on Saturday August 9 will probably sell out so get ye to cornerhotel.com post haste on Friday May 2.

Melbourne’s Twelve Foot Ninja took home the ‘Best New Talent’ award at the Revolver Golden God Awards last week. America’s only hard rock/heavy metal awards show bestowed the award to them over Deafheaven, Scar The Martyr, Crosses, Heaven’s Basement and Issues. Not too shabby.

A second MelbourneD.R.I show has been added at the Bendigo Hotel on Sunday May 4 with Cut Sick, Join The Amish and Spew & Guts. Tickets are only going to be available at the door. Tickets are still available to the Hi-Fi show if you’d prefer to tear shit up on a Saturday night.

Black Flag have officially announced that Tyler Smith is their new bassist, following the departure of Dave Klein. He’ll join the band on their massive US tour throughout May and June, curiously titled the Victimology tour. Meanwhile the lawsuit between Black Flag and FLAG has been settled with little result. The details are confidential but Black Flag’s attorney (never thought I’d utter those words in succession) says “‘Flag’ gets to be Flag, and Black Flag as it is presently known continues to be ‘Black Flag’.”

An all ages gig by the name of Tape Deck Fest has announced that it will host UK outfit Neck Deep with Trophy Eyes, Anchors and Outines. Apparently other internationals will join the bill in weeks to come. It’s all going down at OLP, Ringwood on Sunday September 7.

Thursday’s Geoff Rickly has denied that he’s joining a band with remaining member of Lost Prophets but has confirmed that he’s working with them in a professional capacity. He stated recently, “I wanna be a part of their second chance. People don’t really think of what happens to the other members, you know, but that took away their lives. They had to give up their career. They had to give up everything that they had worked for 15-17 years for”.

Sludge metal band Corrosion of Conformity have announced an Australian tour for this July. They’ll tackle 170 Russell on Sunday July 20 and they’ve hooked up supports from Weedeater and Lo! You can get tickets this Friday May 2.
