Highlights of the 2015 contemporary music program include Scottish instrumental rock luminaries Mogwai, post-rock/electronic outfit 65daysofstatic, the Australian debut of post-punk firebrands The Pop Group and Japanese art metal 10-piece Vampillia.

After a highly successful debut this year, Unsound Adelaide will return with a mind-blowing lineup of electronic and experimental music including Model 500, Hieroglyphic Being, Vatican Shadow, Fushitsusha featuring legendary front man Keiji Haino, Shackleton, Mika Vainio, Forest Swords, Container, The Bug, Evian Christ and Lawrence English, while father of electrolatino Atom TM and audio-visual artist Robin Fox will perform a new collaboration titled Double Vision.

Other highlights of the expansive program include New York’s world-renowned Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet making their long-awaited Australian debut; Danny Elfman with full symphony orchestra and choir celebrating the music from Tim Burton’s films; a whip-sharp and decidedly adults-only recreation of Beauty and the Beast; a radical reimagining of The Who’s legendary double-album Tommy; a free visual arts program featuring 30 digital artworks from 18 international artists and collectives; a celebration of Michael Caine’s most iconic films and much, much more.
