If there’s a few things we love at Beat, it’s top-notch local bands and free shit. Oh, and cheap beers. That’s why we’re bringing that together in conjunction with Live And Local Festival.
Catch HEXDEBT, Househats, Psychobabel, Alice Skye and Kill the Darling a during a free Saturday sesh at the Middle Park Bowls Club. And yep, there’ll be barefoot bowls too.
As well as a killer afternoon of live performances, we’ll be auctioning off a selection of archival Beat magazine covers and selected live music photographs. Proceeds from the auction will go to Support Act, an organisation supporting musicians and music industry professionals facing mental health issues, illness, crisis or other hardships.
