Bon Jovi is coming to Melbourne after eight years away

Words by staff writer

Bon Jovi bring the Forever Tour to Marvel Stadium on 4 March 2027, with general tickets from 23 October.

The air guitars can come out of storage: Bon Jovi play Marvel Stadium on 4 March 2027.

It’s the band’s first Australian visit in more than eight years. Bon Jovi were last here in 2018, when a stadium run pulled upwards of 159,000 people across the country. Sydney picks up the only other date, at Accor Stadium on 11 March. Both shows belong to the Forever Tour, which opened in July 2026 with a nine-show residency at New York’s Madison Square Garden.

Three nights at Wembley Stadium sold out on the European leg, as did stadium shows in Edinburgh and Dublin. The Australian leg runs to two stadium dates, one in each city, a week apart.

Tickets go to general sale at 1pm Melbourne time on 23 October, 12pm in Sydney. Ticketek is the only authorised agency for either stadium, which the promoter has flagged in its own warning about scalpers and unauthorised resellers.

Presales open before that. A fan club window starts 20 October, PayPal First Access follows on 21 October, and NRMA members get access on 22 October alongside a Qantas Frequent Flyer presale limited to the Sydney show. Full timings are here.

Forever (Legendary Edition) is the most recent album, reworking tracks from Forever with Bruce Springsteen, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, Jason Isbell, Carin Leon, Joe Elliott, Robbie Williams and Avril Lavigne among the guests.

Inducted into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame, the band formed in 1983 and has sold more than 130 million albums. Thousands of shows across more than 50 countries have played to over 35 million people, with ticket grosses passing $1 billion in the past decade alone.
