Win tickets to see Melanie Bracewell, Blake Freeman and Lauren Bonner.
The Melbourne International Comedy Festival is here, with the extravaganza of laughs taking over the city from Wednesday March 24 until Sunday April 18.
Each night for three-and-a-half weeks, venues all across the city will come to life with the humour of the world’s funniest. While the international contingent at this year’s MICF is not as extensive as past years, due only to you know who, this gives Australians the perfect opportunity to experience the best local talent.
To prepare you for the festivities, we’ve teamed up with the guys at The Junkyard to give away a bunch of tickets to some upcoming shows.
As part of the offer, we’ll be giving away double passes to see Lauren Bonner on either Thursday March 25 and Friday March 26, Blake Freeman on either Thursday March 25 or Sunday March 28, and Melanie Bracewell on Friday April 9.
Lauren Bonner will be making her debut at Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2021, bringing Heartbreaker to the party. As part of the show, the Sydney comic will trace her transformation from a self-conscious teen into a nice cold Heartbreaker.
Blake Freeman enjoyed a break-out year last time out, winning the Best Newcomer Award at the 2019 Melbourne International Comedy Festival for his show, There’s Something There. Arriving with plenty of anticipation, his 2021 show is not-to-be-missed.
Then there’s Melanie Bracewell who will be bringing her show, The Rumours Are True, to this year’s Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Winner of the 2018 Billy T Award, she’s one of the fastest rising talents in New Zealand comedy, and this is billed as one of the must-see shows of MICF 2021.
To win tickets to any of Bracewell, Bonner and Freeman’s aforementioned shows, all you have to do is enter your name, email, the comedian name, and the date you’d like to see them (dates mentioned above). Get involved below!
