Valentine's Day just got a whole lot groovier. The Ferguson Rogers Process are headlining Twilight Sounds 2026.
Picture this: Valentine’s evening, sun dipping low over Heidelberg Park, picnic rug spread out on the grass, and Tim Rogers’ voice drifting across the oval while Lance Ferguson lays down the groove. Not a bad way to spend 14 February.
The free outdoor concert Twilight Sounds returns to Heidelberg Park Oval on 14 February with a stellar lineup led by Tim Rogers and Lance Ferguson’s collaborative project.
The Ferguson Rogers Process combines the You Am I frontman’s sharp lyricism with The Bamboos leader’s groove-heavy production, creating a sound where disco gets dirty and rock finds its rhythm. The duo previously struck gold with their 2012 hit I Got Burned and album The Rules Of Attraction.

Joining them on the bill is Papua New Guinea-born, Melbourne-based artist Kaiit, who burst onto the scene in 2017 with her debut single Natural Woman. The track created immediate waves online and caught the attention of soul and hip-hop tastemakers worldwide.
She’s since built a truly global fanbase, amassing over 30 million streams and 90,000 followers on Spotify. Kaiit took home Best Soul/R&B Release at the 2019 ARIA Awards for Miss Shiney and has sold out multiple national tours while performing at Splendour in the Grass and Laneway Festival.
She’s also supported international heavyweights including SZA, drawing musical inspiration from idols Amy Winehouse and Lauryn Hill.
A celebration of groove
CJ Commerford & The Supertones bring their celebration of 70s soul to the festival, offering a soulful blues-rock sound rooted in vintage music.
The five-piece band creates sepia-toned warmth with every performance, channelling analogue vibes and wholesome energy that sweeps listeners back to the golden era of soul.
They’ve supported some of Australia’s biggest acts including Daryl Braithwaite, Ross Wilson and Joe Camilleri & The Black Sorrows. Their second album Naturally You dropped in November 2024, cementing their reputation for tactile, deeply human performances.
Twilight Sounds runs from 5pm to 10pm with food trucks, roving performers and free creative activities for kids. The event is sensory-friendly with accessible parking on Beverley Road, accessible toilets, wheelchair charging stations, noise-cancelling headphones available to borrow, and a large screen for better viewing. Entry is free but this is not a pet-friendly event.
