Tim Rogers announces huge national tour

On the back of recently announcing he will be playing a one-off career-spanning performance in Melbourne in August, Tim Rogers has revealed the forthcoming show will, in fact, be part of a massive Australian tour set to kick off next month.

The You Am I frontman and Australian rock legend will hit the road to play a run of intimate solo shows in which he will treat fans to live renditions of tracks from his extensive back catalogue. In addition to material from the past three decades, including You Am I classics, collaborations, and a collection of favourites from his solo career, Rogers will also treat audiences to a handful of brand new songs when he hits the stage next month.

Of the forthcoming tour, Rogers says “to finish a batch of tunes that may or may not demand an LP, written when in the throes of stage fright behind real actors, when he should have been paying attention, old Bull Rogers needs the bitumen under his heels and some hasty, Faustian deals.  Old songs, new songs, freshly constructed truths and libidinous lies.  What could POSSIBLY go wrong. The Endless Cycle Of Maintenance has begun.”

The fifteen-date tour consists mostly of regional venues, with a few capital city slots thrown in the mix for good measure.
