New Year's at the Bowl returns to Sidney Myer Music Bowl on 31 December, with Major Lazer at the top of the bill.
Kings Domain is getting three stages for New Year’s Eve as New Year’s at the Bowl returns on 31 December.
Presented by Live Nation, New Year’s at the Bowl runs for a second year across Sidney Myer Music Bowl and the surrounding gardens, with music going from afternoon sun until 1.30am and on into the early hours of 2027.
Major Lazer top the bill, playing their first Australian show since 2015. Founded by Diplo, the group now features Diplo, Walshy Fire, Ape Drums and America Foster, who joined in 2025 as its first full-time vocalist. Their catalogue stretches past 15 years and takes in Lean On, Cold Water and Light It Up.

Each of the three stages has been given its own remit. The Bowl handles main-stage scale and will be hosted and soundtracked across the day by PBS FM’s Milo Eastwood. Garden moves through live music, soul and disco. The 360-degree Sundial heads into deeper club territory.
Around Major Lazer sits a mix of international and local names: Don West, DJ Seinfeld (Live), Flight Facilities (DJ), CC:DISCO!, Helena Hauff, Todd Terje (DJ), Close Counters, Miami Horror, Yung Singh, Adriana, Surusinghe, Maden Lane, Claire O’Brien and MZRIZK. A special guest for the midnight countdown is still under wraps.
Earlybird GA tickets start at $169.90 plus fees through the presale, with sign-ups open now at nyatthebowl.com.au. Moshtix Ticket Request is also live, letting punters buy ahead of the presale at a fixed $179.90 plus fees, though inventory there is capped.
Anyone born on 31 December or 1 January can apply for a complimentary GA ticket by emailing [email protected], subject to limited availability and terms. Discounted Blak Tix are available for First Nations attendees, with eligibility details through the same address.
