Sunset Sounds makes a welcome return for 2018 with a series of free gigs taking place across Melbourne’s beautiful parks and gardens.
The concert series will see three events pair up two artists, with an emphasis on local funk and soul.
First up comes Saskwatch and Alexander Biggs on Sunday January 7. It’s been a notable year for both acts, with Saskwatch’s fourth studio album Manual Override finding widespread acclaim for its mix of indie pop and soul-infused horns. Meanwhile, Alexander Biggs is still flying high off the release of his debut EP, Still You Sharpen Your Teeth.
Rounding it out comes The Bamboos and Jazz Party on Sunday January 14, before Hot Potato Band and 30/70 seal the deal on Sunday January 21.
All up, Sunset Sounds offers the perfect chance to pack your picnic and dancing shoes for a solid day out of live music.
