Pack your walking shoes: Thornbury Crawl is linking up more than 10 High Street venues for free live music.
Landing on 24 October, Thornbury Crawl is the neighbourhood’s first festival of its kind, with 12 venues along High Street throwing open their doors for live music from lunchtime through to midnight. All you have to do is register online to grab a free ticket.
Music gets going at 1pm with family-friendly sets before winding through to midnight with a run of local bands. Set times are staggered across the venues, so you can amble between Thornbury’s pubs and bars and catch each one at its best, all without paying a cent at the door.

The inaugural crawl is a collaborative effort from the venues of Thornbury, pulled together with Coopers and Fireball. The full artist line-up and set times are still under wraps, with organisers promising to reveal the program in the lead-up to the day. Anyone who registers early gets first word when the bill drops.
There’s an added reason to lock in your spot now. Good Things Festival is tossing in a double pass to its December return for one lucky sign-up, so every Thornbury Crawl registration goes into the draw for two tickets to the December event.
The festival’s artwork comes courtesy of Wurundjeri local Annie Walter, with the day playing out across High Street’s cluster of rooms, bars and pubs from early afternoon until the final set wraps. Registrations are open now through the festival’s ticketing page.
