Radiohead have locked in 16 arena shows nationally, with Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena taking the biggest run of nights.
Radiohead are heading back to Australia in 2027 for their first shows here since 2012, with six Melbourne dates.
The art rock band have confirmed 16 shows across Perth, Melbourne and Sydney, part of a wider 21-date run that also takes in Saitama, Japan. It’s Radiohead’s first Australian visit in 15 years, arriving after the group wrapped a string of residencies across European cities late in 2025.

Six Melbourne shows at Rod Laver Arena
Melbourne pulls the biggest chunk of the Australian leg, with six nights booked at Rod Laver Arena through May. Perth opens proceedings at RAC Arena in early May before Sydney closes things out at Afterpay Arena, the room previously known as Qudos Bank Arena. Tickets are only available through a registration process, built to keep touts and bots out and steer seats towards actual fans, with Frontier Touring running the Australian shows and eplus handling the Japan dates.
Radiohead last played Australia in 2012, while their most recent headline dates in Japan stretch all the way back to 2008, though they did drop by for Summersonic in 2016. The 16 Australian gigs sit alongside the Saitama shows to make up the full 21-night stretch, which follows the run the band played across Europe late last year.
Registration is open now and closes at 5pm AEST on 10 September, with every entry treated the same no matter when it comes in. There’s no advantage to signing up early, and buyers are capped at four tickets for a single show city, so fans will need to pick their nights carefully.
Registration is the only way in, and each ticket carries a small charity donation shared between Greenpeace Australia Pacific and the Australian Marine Conservation Society, with the band matching the total themselves. There won’t be any extra dates either, so these arena nights are the only Radiohead gigs happening anywhere in 2027.
