The event organisers describe the night as soft in name only. They plan to deliver a hard-hitting techno experience within the botanical surroundings of the florist-turned-club.

Soft Launch promises to evolve from deep grooves into heavy-hitting techno throughout the night. The lineup includes a live hardware techno set alongside DJ performances from established artists.

Xflos operates as a botanical studio and event space during regular hours. The venue transforms into Flowerclub for selected events, creating an intimate atmosphere for electronic music performances.

The Collingwood Yards location provides easy access for Melbourne’s techno community. The venue’s unique concept combines plant life with electronic music culture, a perfect duo.

Effektor will perform a live hardware techno set during the evening. The artist joins other acts including Flat Esoteric, gross margins, Jinx Mas, Kato and Moreclip.

The event promises to showcase both established and emerging talent from Melbourne’s electronic music scene. Each artist brings their own interpretation of techno and electronic music to the botanical setting.

Soft Launch represents a growing trend of alternative venue programming in Melbourne. The city’s electronic music scene continues to find creative spaces beyond traditional club environments.

The Collingwood event runs from 7pm until 1am, giving attendees six hours of electronic music programming.

Flowerclub’s concept of transforming a working florist into a club venue offers something different for Melbourne’s nightlife. The botanical elements create a unique atmosphere that sets it apart from conventional club spaces.
