Nine food items that you need to make a kickarse dinner party:

Whole snapper, garlic, butter, coriander, chilli, potatoes, lemon followed by cheese and biccies.

Eight possessions that define you:

Maton acoustic guitar, Gibson Spirit, 1972 Silver Face Fender Twin Reverb, Lee Oskar harmonicas, 1970s zip up boots, hat, western shirt and a bottle of whiskey.

Seven favourite movies/TV shows that go on your mix-tape:

What the fuck? How do you get movies and the telly onto a mixed tape. What is this?

Six bad habits you can’t escape:

Shaking, drinking, cussin, spiting, staying out all night and saying I love you.

Five people who inspire you:

Keith Richards, Joe Strummer, Nelson Mandela, The Dalai Lama, and all my friends.

Four things that turn you on:

Vintage guitars, the smell of a valve amp, tone and well.. me lady.

Three goals for your music:

Write a song good enough for the whole audience to sing all the words to, have a kick ass band to play with for the rest of my life and to always have a gig to play.

Two gigs you’ll never forget and why:

All of our shows in Spain with Montana playing the indie circuit with the Rock Indiana crew. Viva Espanola! Driving across Spain a different town every night the whole tour was a great moment in rock, plus my first solo gig at the Farnham Blues festival in Surrey UK. I was nervous and made a bunch of mistakes though it set me on my new path.

One day left before the apocalypse and you…

Go to the pub.

When’s the gig?

This Saturday at Grumpy’s Green from 8pm with special guests Andrew Burke and Forever Son. Shaky Stills new album Cold Hands Warm Heart is out soon. More info at facebook.com/ShakyStills.
