The Count With Jack On Fire

Nine food items that you need to make a kickarse dinner party:

Beer, wine, vodka, meat, rum, tequila, port, whiskey and crème de menthe.

Eight possessions that define you.

Pointy boots, nerdy collections, Gretsch bass, barbeque, sensible car, monkey boxer shorts, record collection.

Seven favourite movies/TV shows that go on your mix-tape

Freaks , M, Repulsion, Dawn Of The Dead, Doctor Who, A-Team, Red Dwarf.

Six bad habits you can’t escape

Lateness, slight tendency to hoard things, excessive tea consumption, bad puns, falling asleep on the couch, the flatulence of other band members.

Five people who inspire you:

Brian Eno, Patti Smith, Mick Harvey, Mr T, Your Mum.

Four things that turn you on

Boobs, boobs, boobs and intellectual conversation.

Three goals for your music

Lots of recording, lots of shows, tour Japan.

Two live gigs you’ll never forget and why

One I’ve played: with Jack On Fire; we had a show at a bar in Fremantle called Mojo’s. Just before we went on stage a large group of people turned up from nowhere, they looked like a family of Christian bikies. They went crazy when we played and left as soon as we finished. It was very strange.

One I’ve seen: The Stooges at the Big Day Out. A band I never expected to get to see playing. They played all the songs you would want to hear, Iggy was brilliant and the rest of the band looked like your Dad’s mates and played like it was 1970 again. I almost made it up on stage; Iggy was reaching for me when a bouncer intervened. No Fun.

One day left before the apocalypse and you…

Put the kettle on.
