This hauntingly captivating Melbourne outfit will play at Sydney’s Good God on Thursday June 2, Brisbane’s X & Y Bar on Friday June 3 and at The Toff in Town in Melbourne on Saturday June 11.
Teeth & Tongue is the musical project of Jess Cornelius, combined with long-time collaborator Marc Regueiro-Mckelvie on guitar, and Damian Sullivan on bass. Cornelius uses an old 505 drum machine and an electric guitar to weave her songs through pared-back rhythms and hypnotic guitar lines, creating a diverse and layered sound with dark and mysterious undertones.
Recorded with Simon Grounds, who also worked with Kes Band, Laura Jean and Bird Blobs, the new album entitled Tambourine is out now.
Tambourine is the follow-up to Teeth & Tongue’s acclaimed 2006 debut album Monobasic.
