Tracey 'Mama' Miller is launching her debut album Queen of the Creek at Brunswick Ballroom this December.
Melbourne’s soul and RnB powerhouse is finally releasing her first full-length record, and she’s doing it in style. Queen of the Creek blends old-school soul with neo-soul grooves, showcasing the kind of vocals that have made Tracey Mama Miller a local legend. The album tackles themes of resilience and creative freedom, pushing back against industry gatekeeping while staying true to her signature sound.
The album launch show promises to be something special. Tracey Mama Miller will perform Queen of the Creek in full, backed by her 10-piece soul band. Jake Mason from Cookin’ on 3 Burners joins as special guest, alongside some of Melbourne’s finest musicians including Darcy McNulty, Lachlan Mitchell, Tamara Murphy, Eamon McNelis, Sam Lemann, Grant Arthur, Dom Hede, Loretta Miller, Wynona Miller and Nitida Atkinson. The night will feature deep grooves, raw emotion and a celebration of independent soul music.
