A romantic salsa night is taking to the stage at the famous Night Cat for an evening of joyful hip-swinging and lively dancing on October 9. Premiering their latest single ‘Jamás Adiós’, Colombian/Australian artists Stefanía Serna and John Sánchez are set to light the Night Cat ablaze with their unmissable, romantic salsa show. There will be a dancing show on stage and audiences will also be treated to an exclusive premiere of their magnificent video clip that was filmed in the stunning surrounds of the Sunshine Coast.

With a successful career as a singer spanning over 20 years, Stefanía Serna has recently made the transition to writing and recording her own music. Drawing on the traditional salsa music of her hometown Cali, she uses urban production to create a versatile and fresh new sound. She has just debuted in Melbourne as the musical producer of Salsa The Show, a spectacular theatre-style show that takes the audience on a musical and dance filled journey through the history of salsa.
A Queensland based singer and songwriter, John Sánchez has a vast and expansive musical career across Australia and Colombia. With his most recent single ‘Volvió La Ilusión’ being released in 2020, he is known for navigating through different genres such as salsa, Spanish ballads and mariachi.

Translating from Spanish to ‘never say goodbye’, ‘Jamás Adiós’ tells the bittersweet story of the disappointments of a relationship. Stefanía Serna and John Sánchez have teamed up with the Colombian multi-Grammy award winning producer Oilo Producer for this spectacular song.
