Stand Atlantic bring Knuckle Puck to Australia for the Godbreath tour

Words by staff writer

Stand Atlantic have locked in the Godbreath tour, a five-city Australian run that reaches Melbourne in October with Knuckle Puck.

The four-piece named the trek after their forthcoming album Godbreath, landing 23 October through Virgin Music Group. Singles Velcro and LUCID have already surfaced ahead of the record, which pulls from turn-of-the-century pop-rock and modern pop-punk in roughly equal measure.

Knuckle Puck join the entire run as special guests, and there’s a bit of history to it: Stand Atlantic opened for the American outfit on their 2018 Australian tour, so the roles have swapped this time around. The Godbreath tour takes in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth, with the Melbourne stop set for The Forum on 28 October.

Presale kicks off at 9am local time on 17 August, with general tickets going on sale from 9am local time on 19 August.

Godbreath follows a run that began with the band’s breakout 2017 EP Sidewinder, and they’ve since pulled more than 500 million streams across their catalogue while charting on Billboard, the UK Top 200 and the ARIA Top 10.

Their platinum single Deathwish, featuring nothing, nowhere, sits past 57 million streams, and their triple j Like A Version take on Juice WRLD’s Righteous made the very first Like A Version Hottest 100. It’s shaping up as another big year for the group, who are also lining up as main support for Simple Plan across the UK.
