Moonee Valley is finishing its annual event program strong with an outdoor bash featuring a jam-packed lineup of talent.

Australian electronic music legends Sneaky Sound System will cap off Moonee Valley City Council’s summer festival season with a free performance at Lincoln Park, bringing their chart-topping anthems to Melbourne’s inner northwest.

The ARIA-winning duo, known for defining hits UFO, Pictures and I Love It, tops a diverse lineup featuring local eight-piece outfit MisterCo., who’ll serve up their signature blend of pop, rock, soul and funk. DJ Be Kind to Other People and MC Candy Hertz round out the musical offerings.

Beyond the beats, the family-friendly event will feature roaming entertainment including face painting and interactive puppet shows throughout the parklands, alongside food vendors and refreshment stations.

The twilight concert marks the final instalment of the council’s packed summer program, following February’s Moonee Valley Festival and the Mediterranean Fiesta in March.

Mayor Ava Adams emphasized the significance of securing high-calibre talent while supporting local artists. “We love it when we can bring world-class acts like Sneaky Sound System to Moonee Valley, and it’s equally exciting to provide a platform for outstanding local artists like MisterCo.,” Adams said.

“Our festival program is one more reason why the City of Moonee Valley is a highly sought-after place to live, work and play,” she added. “I can’t imagine a better way to spend a balmy summer night than packing a picnic and heading outdoors with family and friends.”

The free concert continues the council’s commitment to delivering accessible cultural events for the community, with previous festivals drawing thousands to the area’s green spaces.

Attendees are encouraged to bring picnic blankets and low-backed chairs, with the venue offering ample space for families to spread out and enjoy the entertainment.
