Grunge rockers Shoot The Sun have been alive and gigging for over a year now, and will be releasing their new single this Friday night.
After forming in 2009 and playing blistering live shows throughout Melbourne at venues such as Bar Open, The Tote, Pony and Yah Yahs, Shoot The Sun have been toiling away in the studio and are ready to release their new single.
Square Peg is its name, and it showcases the best of Shoot The Sun’s exciting combination of rock, grunge and electro. It also demonstrates the broad range of styles the band have displayed in their energetic live sets.
The single will be available shortly on the Beat website for free download, but in the meantime check the band out on their myspace or their facebook page.
Shoot The Sun will be officially unleashing Square Peg this Friday night, December 17 at North Melbourne’s Public Bar, with The Latonas and Kate Lucas as supporting acts.
The launch starts at 9pm and entry is $7. This is an 18+ event. Head on down!
