Many would know Jorge for his performance as Knockout Ned in City of God and his Portuguese David Bowie covers in The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. Growing up in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro, Jorge taught himself to play guitar and several other instruments. He has since collaborated with a wide range of artists, including Beck, Talib Kweli, Jack Johnson, Damien Rice, Thievery Corporation and Nação Zumbi.
