Slimming their ranks, soul revue types Saskwatch here land somewhere between garage blues and pop punk on I’ll Be Fine. It’s a weird energy, the lo-fi inclinations not really playing to Saskwatch’s strengths, especially as it holds back a sense of power in Nkechi’s vocals. Having said that, it does compound the introspective doubt and assurance professed in the song. But yeah, a weird energy.
