Swedish pop sensation Robyn is releasing album Honey on Friday October 26. To up the excitement, Australian fans will hear the album first at one of Nightlife Music and Inertia Music’s listening parties on Thursday October 25. These three listening parties run simultaneously at Brisbane’s Wickham Hotel, Sydney’s Beresford and Melbourne’s Village Belle.

“It’s a triumph for Nightlife to be part of Robyn’s global sneak-peek party,” says Phil Brown, General Manager of Partnerships at Nightlife. “Selected venues and their clients will be among the first in the world to hear Honey. It really is a Robyn party.”

“Robyn is such an extraordinary artist and we are so proud to present her new album as a first in Australia,” adds Justin Cosby, A&R Director at Inertia Music.

All three venues will allow the party to continue after Honey, with choices from Robyn’s extensive back catalogue as chosen by the fans on the night.

Honey is Robyn’s first solo album in eight years. Her last visit to Australia was ten years ago at 2008’s V Festival. Despite not being in Australia, she has maintained her fan base via social media as shown through her two appearances on triple j’s Hottest 100 in 2015.

With five studio albums over the past 23 years, Robyn has been praised for four UK top ten singles, five Grammy nominations, millions of streams and memorable songs such as ‘Dancing on My Own’, ‘Call Your Girlfriend’, ‘Hang with Me’ and ‘With Every Heartbeat’.
